Controleer de buitenstof \u2014 scheuren, lekkend dons, versleten naden \u2014 zodat je kleine problemen opmerkt voordat ze groot worden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hang hem goed op<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De underquilt moet tegen de onderkant van de hangmat aanliggen <em>zonder luchtspleet<\/em>. Hangt hij los, dan ontstaat er een luchtzak die je afkoelt \u2014 dat is geen fout van de underquilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Trek de binnenste elastiekkoorden aan zodat de underquilt een cocon rond de hangmat vormt.<\/li><li>Klik de karabijnhaken in de ophanglus van de hangmat, een aan elke kant.<\/li><li>Stel de spanning af tot de underquilt aanligt. Niet strak gespannen \u2014 alleen <em>contact<\/em>.<\/li><li>Gebruik de metalen haken in de D-ringen van de hangmat voor extra stabiliteit als het waait.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Berg het dons goed op<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dons is een levend materiaal \u2014 het wil lucht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Berg hem losjes op in de grote meegeleverde opbergzak<\/strong>, niet in de kleine compressiezak.<\/li><li>Hangend aan een kleerhanger is nog beter als je de ruimte hebt.<\/li><li>Tussen tochten door: laat de underquilt aan de hangmat en pak alles in een Bishop Bag \u2014 zo hoef je het dons niet onnodig samen te persen.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Langdurige opslag in de kleine compressiezak laat het dons zijn loft permanent verliezen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wassen \u2014 zelden, voorzichtig<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Schud na elke tocht het vuil eraf.<\/li><li>Indien nodig: handwas in lauw water met <strong>donsspecifiek wasmiddel<\/strong>. Gewoon wasmiddel beschadigt de natuurlijke oli\u00ebn van het dons.<\/li><li>Spoel grondig \u2014 wasmiddelresten verzwaren het dons.<\/li><li><strong>Droog in de droger op lage temperatuur<\/strong> met een paar tennisballen \u2014 dat is de enige manier om het dons weer luchtig te krijgen. Aan de lucht drogen duurt dagen en het dons kan ondertussen beschimmelen.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Geen bleekmiddel, geen wasverzachter.
